Compassionate Swaziland is a national NGO in Swaziland registered on 13th February 2011 to spearhead the interest of orphans and vulnerable children in the Royal Kingdom of Swaziland. It was founded after a group of community volunteers and international development workers realized that the rate of child abuse and difficulty in accessing basic needs by OVCs were becoming so critical. In particular children living with HIV, children of minority groups and those who had lost their parents to HIV were increasingly becoming marginalized due to stigma and discrimination.
